Your e-mail address is used to sign in to WebGazer. It is verified when you first sign up, and you can change it later from Settings if your organization allows it.

Verification on sign up

After you sign up, WebGazer sends a welcome e-mail to the address you used. You must verify that address by entering the verification code from the e-mail, or by using the link in the e-mail. Once verified, your 14-day free trial on the Pro plan starts. For more on the free trial, see Free trial.

If you did not receive the verification e-mail, you can request a new one from the verification page.

Changing your e-mail address

If your organization allows it, you can change your e-mail address from Settings.

  1. After signing in, open the user menu by clicking your avatar on the top right, and click Settings.
  2. Click E-mail address on the menu on the left.
  3. Enter your new e-mail address and your password. When you submit the form, WebGazer sends a verification e-mail to the new address.
  4. Enter the verification code from that e-mail to complete the change.

You can cancel an in-progress e-mail change on the same page.

Organization setting

Whether users can change their e-mail addresses is controlled per organization. Only the organization Owner can change this setting.

In SettingsOrganization details, the owner can enable or disable Allow users to change their e-mail addresses.

For invited team members, the e-mail address cannot be edited in the UI. If a team member's e-mail address changes, the organization owner must delete the previous account and invite again with the new e-mail address. See Team -> Introduction for details.
