Slack alerts

Slack is one of the most commonly used workplace communication tools.

You can create a Slack alert to get status update notifications from WebGazer into Slack. To do so:

1. While creating an alert, choose Slack from the Kind dropdown. Then click the Add to Slack button to authenticate with Slack.

   

2. Sign in to Slack and select the channel you want to get WebGazer notifications on, and click the Allow button.

   

3. Don't forget to save the alert on WebGazer by clicking Add alert button.

   

   Slack doesn't allow changing the channel after the first creation. So, if you would like to change the channel, you will just need to delete the existing alert and create a new one.
